I recently had the pleasure of doing business with Adrian Vekic. As a former customer service representative and a self-professed cynic when it comes to sales people of any kind, I believe that I am what one would term a "hard-sell"...
Adrian came highly recommended by a friend of mine who had just sold her home. She didn't need to convince me to at least interview Adrian for the job. I had witnessed the delicate nature of her sale, and knew that he had done an excellent job in an emotionally charged situation.
Adrian wasn't the only realtor I interviewed, however, he did call me 3 weeks later to ask how my school had gone. (To this day, I have not heard a word from the other realtor who claimed to be "above the crowd").I told him that I was leaving for Vernon in 2 days to try to buy a new place, and that he might get a panicked call from me to list my place. He reassured me that, if it was necessary, I could "list by fax". It was necessary! I called Adrian from Vernon on Wednesday night. By Thursday my place was listed. Adrian advised me early on that he believed in "customer service." That meant... being present at both showings and at the open house that took place within the week. That meant... I had peace of mind as I left my home for strangers to view. That meant ... buyers questions / concerns were answered / dispelled immediately! That meant... a quick sale for a very happy seller!

My employment during my working days was for a major bank for some forty-one years and we had many moves over that time and thus have been exposed to many Realtors. I cannot criticize any of them, however I could not let the opportunity of comparing your guidance in this move to those of the past go unnoticed.

My position in the Bank was at the management level, and I was in charge of a branch with a staff complement of eighty-six employess. One of the most delicate and onerous duties that I had was the annual evaluation of the quality of an employee's ability, as it had a direct influence on their advancement and remuneration. The report was a valued document for both management and employee and the comments had to be factual and were reviewed carefully in a joint discussion before filing in the employee record.

I tell you this to enable you to understand the comparison of our feelings with your conduct in our sale to that of others in your line of work. The report cards I refer to above were rated in the usual scale of fair - good - etc. to the maximum of "excellent". In my forty-one years of service with my employer I have only seen one "excellent" rating and I had the privilege of giving that rating to an employee who eventually rose to a very high office in the executive level of my employer.

Exceptional service impresses us, and I have never, until now, had the privilege of giving another "excellent" rating to anyone else in their conduct of their employment. I now must do that with you - all aspects of our deal was excellent. We appreciated all the advise you gave - your abiliy to listen to our concerns so carefully - your explanations of the intricacies of the deal - the prompt notifications of all progress in negotiations - the sincere interest and frequency of "open houses" - the consideration given to the regulations of our condominium council - being on time when interviews were arranged - and the neat paper work - and in general all aspects of the sale.

Therefore in the report card from us on you that we will give to anyone - will be one where the box maked "excellent" will be ticked off to show our high regard for your professionalism in all respects. Thank you very much for all you have done for us.
